BaronVonKronken is a site dedicated to the Volkswagen Transporter.

The Transporter is known as a Splitscreen, Type 2 or Bulli. This site contains

information on all models of transporter built from the early 1950's all

the way through and up to August 1967. From factory details and

historical facts to period accessories, show photographs and event reviews.

I created the name 'BaronVonKronken' around 1999. In '02 I purchased

the web domain, designed and built the website along with the BVK logo.

My name is M (aka BaronVonKronken) born in the seventies in the UK.

I was Technical Advisor for the Discovery Channel show called

'Campervan Crisis' in '06 and was a SSVC (SplitScreen Van Club)

committee member for several years. I am into many things including HotRods,

American Muscle Cars, Vintage Military, Vintage Aircraft, Vintage Clothing

as well as Burlesque, PinUp Girls, Tattoos & Piercings and Photography.
