The M Plate Specifications.

Factory Fitted Options or Optional Extras are identified by a "M" number.

Some of these M options became standard equipment over time, while some others were only

available for certain models or for export purposes.

Please Note :   

The M codes listed here are all the known codes at present.

I have spoken with the VW Museum in Wolfsburg about the missing codes and they said that

some are unreadable, missing or unknown. New codes will be added as soon as i know of them.
